The Power of Staying Present

 

 


What does it mean to stay present?

 

Staying present means to focus on the current moment, task or one thing at time without looking too far ahead or without distraction. Staying present means living in the present moment, letting go of the past and not waiting for what is ahead.

 

Staying present is incredibly empowering.

 

It is very easy to drift off and think about the past or be eager to skip a few years into the future but by consciously staying in the present may help reduce your worry or anxiety about things that have happened in the past or things that are out of your control. Staying present can help you conserve mental energy which may help with your goals and motivation.


By living in the moment, you may notice an increased sense of calm or inner peace.
